Water Taps Any business or residence in West Plains requiring water service must tap into an existing water service line. City utility crews perform the tap. They will also supply the water meter. The resident, business owner or contractor is responsible for the connection from the tap to the building's plumbing. To determine the location of water service for a particular building or lot, contact City Utilities at City Hall at (417) 256-7176 or e-mail utility@westplains.net. To request a water line tap, inquire at the Utilities office in City Hall. The clerk will complete a work order for the water crew. Fees:
