First Friday Night Strolls
Strolls are held on the First Friday of each month, May thru December,weather permitting. Many of the stores and businesses around the Historic Downtown Square stay open late. There is always live music, special menus and activities for the whole family. Bring the family and take a leisurely stroll around the square, grab a bite to eat, listen to some music and visit with some old friends. Heart of the Ozarks Bluegrass Festivals

5th Annual Spring Gospel Show
Saturday, May , 2015
 Come enjoy an evening of southern , country and bluegrass gospel music with a great meal. 
 Supper starts at 5:00 pm, Show begins at 7:00 pm. Show is $5 adult, 12 & U FREE. Meal is $5 adult and $2.50 kids meal.
Show will be held at HOBA Park, 1138 Bluegrass Lane, West Plains, MO. In case of inclement weather the show will be moved to the Howell Rural Fire Department, 1/2 mile west on K. HWY.  Bring your own lawn chairs.

21st Annual Old Time Music, Ozark Heritage Festival
June 19th & 20th, 2015, FREE ADMISSION

12th Annual Bob Holt Jig Dancing Competition
7th Annual Mule Jumping Competition
Performances: Fiddling, old-time banjo playing, dulcimer playing, string-band music, traditional sacred singing and more.
Artisans in Actions: Blacksmithing, spinning & weaving, quilting, instrument making, traditional basketry, leather work , candle
making and more.
Programs and Activities: "Fiddlers Frolic" (all traditional fiddlers welcome), 1850 style camps, old-time square and jig dancing ,
traditional music workshops, jam sessions (all pickers welcome) & much more.
